Bubble Wrap

A series of experimental darkroom processes. Skipping the last step of the enlargement process (fixing the paper to light) keeps the print light-sensitive, turning it pink. Lowering the print into the developer unevenly, upside down, or in sections creates flowing striations. Objects like bubble wrap or tape placed on top of the film negative during enlargement add layers, texture, and patterns. Etching into the film and scraping off the emulsion layer adds texture, figure, and form.
